Numismatic Coins A MLM? Why Not!

In its various forms, MLM is presently the fastest growing industry everywhere. In the past decade alone, network marketing and other home-based businesses have experienced a twenty-fold increase to a record 30 million operators or distributors.

And as broadband internet continues to gain a stronger foothold in presently under-served countries, these numbers will surely keep on increasing.

Thus there is no better time than now to position yourself for the worldwide explosion soon to take place in network marketing businesses.

Some five decades ago when the first foundations of the industry were being laid, some persons might be forgiven if they saw it merely as a fad that would soon fizzle out. Instead, this industry has flourished and attracted the interest of all—investors, consumers, and distributors.

And By all standards, network marketing is big business today; upwards of $100 billion in goods and services are sold each year through MLM. And have we mentioned the hundreds of persons who have become millionaires through this industry—many of them very ordinary folks who never thought they could amount to anything financially? In fact, as you read this, hundreds of distributors are networking their way to wealth.

A major and interesting feature of network marketing is that virtually any product or service can be sold via this unique model of marketing. Yes, wellness and health supplements might have spearheaded and still dominates the industry. But at the moment, electronic, telecommunications, legal, textile, and hospitality sectors have all found ways to promote their products through MLM.

And recently, even precious metals such as gold and silver are now being sold by way of network marketing. These are mainly Numismatic or collectible coins. But how viable is this sort of network marketing? Can numismatic coins be successfully traded through network marketing?

A major determinant of success in any network business is the quality and hence acceptability of the products being marketed. In the case of health supplements, once people use them and obtain the benefits promised with no or minimal side effects, consumers often keep coming back. And the distributors and the company grow and thrive.

By this yardstick, network firms selling numismatic coins surely have a bright future. Precious metals such as silver and gold have long been seen as dependable ways of preserving wealth with relative ease.

And the worsening threat of inflation, deflation and depression means that the future of real estates, stocks, and bonds is hugely uncertain. Gold and Silver therefore represent a tangible way of hedging against these threats, or at least diversifying one’s investments. They have even recently proven to be outstanding instruments for short-term trades as a result of price appreciations.

Network Marketing Businesses that deal on these commodities simply make it easier for both marketers and investors to take advantage of this scenario. On the one hand, they make it possible for people to earn reasonable income through collecting, selling and buying numismatic coins through a MLM arrangement.

On the other hand, since products always become cheaper when they are transacted via network marketing, buyers of numismatic coins get a better bargain if they buy from a Numismatic network.

In my opinion, one major attraction of MLM is that it is personally empowering, giving individuals the flexibility of working at their own pace, often from home. And when this is coupled with a product which demand is high, the distributor’s job is already halfway done.

Therefore the fact that Numismatic Coins are in hot demand, suggests that a home business built around these collectible coins will thrive if the business owner gets other things right like how to market this product correctly.

Is it really worth it to spend your money on coaching and mentoring? Why don’t you just go to the library or do a Google search on anything you need to know concerning your MLM business?

In these days of the internet it could surely be tempting to think that we don’t really need anyone to sit us down and explain the best ways to approach our business.

There’s this prevailing but deceptive notion that virtually anything we need to know to succeed in any activity is just a few clicks of the mouse away. Oh yea? So how many persons have leaned how to play golf, drive a car, or fly a plane by reading a magazine? Wake up folks, we DO need mentors!

Have you ever paused to think about what life would be like without teachers—I mean the very first teachers in our academic life? Don’t you agree it would have been so difficult getting to learn the alphabet all by ourselves?

We would probably have begun to learn the basics of ABC and some arithmetic in our late teens! Thank God for teachers and mentors.
They help point us in the right direction, guiding and teaching us things we need to know in order for us to succeed in our various endeavors.

But for them, the only other option would’ve been to grope in the dark for long periods trying to figure things out through trial and error. The problem with that approach is, it would take far more time to know what works compared with having a mentor who already knows the ‘road map.’

So unless we are plain egotistical, it has to be admitted that having a business mentor provides us with numerous benefits. First, mentors are far more experienced than we are. They have probably been in the same industry you’re now just venturing into.

So they have gained a wide range of experiences and insights that could considerably help cut your learning curve. Additionally, they have made their own share of mistakes in trying to implement certain aspects of the business, which means they can help us take the better path and avoid committing mistakes that they have already made.

Simply put, they are in a position to tell you what works and what doesn’t. It is only the course of wisdom to leverage on such foreknowledge rather than insisting on making and learning from your own blunders.

Remember you may not be alive long enough and or be patient long enough to make all your mistakes in business! Many do give up out of frustration.

There’s yet another reason why mentors are worth having: due to their wealth of experience, length of time and accomplishments in the business, they will most likely have a wide network of people whose interests and industry experience you could further tap into.

You surely need a wide network of people if your MLM business must grow. Some of these people may become your target clients, or others who could be in a position to help spread your marketing messages to others who may be interested in your line of business.

Not to be overlooked too is the role that mentors play in motivating us. They can help you to keep things in perspective, by helping you make sense of some things that might probably have overwhelmed you.

Mentors also inspire their students, helping them to stay on track and achieve what some students never thought they were capable of achieving.

Yes, in the end, how far you succeed in your MLM business will owe a lot to your own Personal Growth efforts, especially your determination and self-discipline. But mentors provide valuable guidance that can make your path smoother.

Do you realize how many people fail in MLM everyday? Many people want to start a home-based business so as to earn extra income or probably strike it rich. For most of these people, MLM and other aspects of direct marketing is the way to go.  And for good reasons:

Multi-Level Marketing is creating more millionaires today than any other industry; this is about the only business that can make you a million dollars and more per year without a single paid staff; and if you don’t feel like it, you actually don’t need an office. And did we mention that you also work at your convenience? Well, now you see why most people cannot resist the lure of Multi-Level Marketing.

Unfortunately only a little fraction of those going into MLM eventually realize the money and freedom they dream of. 9 out of every 10 persons gong into MLM WILL FAIL. That is a fact we all must accept. And such grim statistics naturally begs the question: why do so many fail in MLM? Could it be that MLM is not for everyone after all?

That is the debate in some quarters right now. But if you’re like me and most other MLM researchers, you’ll accept that anyone can succeed in MLM, and pretty much any other business. They just need the right attitude.

In Multi-Level Marketing, failure can be caused by any or all of the following reasons: a lack of experience in MLM strategies, inadequate capital, and a get-rich-quick mentality (impatience).

INEXPERIENCE is probably the greatest reason why most persons will end up not making money in MLM. Imagine that Nancy got introduced to this exciting product that her friend Lisa is selling. Nancy loves the products and knows that by reselling them she too can make some extra money. So Lisa enrolls her, and Nancy is now happy and excited to have her own network business.

Weeks roll by and Nancy has neither made a sale nor introduced another distributor.  She doesn’t know the first thing about marketing as it relates to MLM. She doesn’t know how to invite people to join her opportunity. Meanwhile she has to continue to order for products from the company to keep her membership active. Now Nancy’s bills have started to pile. Still no commission checks in sight, she’s now overwhelmed, gets discouraged, and finally gives up.

That’s inexperience at work, a lack of marketing techniques. When MLM trainers and companies fail to teach their new distributors how to market effectively and profitably, they set them up for failure.

Before ever joining a network opportunity, you must do some research about the company. Study the company’s pay plan very carefully. You must also have your own marketing strategy, based on what has worked for other marketers in your chosen industry. Talk to experts in the business, and learn from them. Avoid emotional decisions when it comes to business investments.

Another reason why people fail in MLM is what I’ll call UNDERCAPITALIZATION. Sure you don’t need much money to get started in MLM. But you do need SOME money! Look, in this business you’re going to advertize both yourself and your products or business opportunity.

You are going to have to reach out to people to make them take a look at you and what you do so they can decide whether to join you. Whether your business is mainly carried on online on offline, you’ll need one form of advert campaign or the other to get you noticed.

Additionally, most MLM companies require that you make monthly purchases (and sometimes fees). It is partly from these that commissions are paid to uplines. So if your budget is such that you cannot afford these expenses, please don’t join MLM yet. You are likely to come to regrets.

True, it is possible for some persons to earn back their investment within weeks or months, but this is not the norm; the average new member will not earn anything substantial within the first six months.

Finally people fail in MLM due to a LACK OF PATIENCE. Majority of people who start home-based MLM opportunities believe that the moment they get registered money will just start rolling in like clockwork. MLM is nothing near that.

If you like truth, here it is: it will likely take you a few months to earn your first dollar; MLM takes time to build; and you are going to have to wait! This is also another reason you need to have enough money to carry you through the early stages. But once your business gains momentum, then the profits will begin to come in, first in trickles, and then later in torrents!

So you need to give your MLM business the time to grow, all the while implementing your marketing plan. Refuse to get discouraged. Make sure you join a company with a good reputation and high quality products—very important. And avoid joining many companies at the same time while starting out.  The profits will come if you follow these guidelines and remain steadfast and consistent with your strategies.
