Here’s one MLM authority whose profile is hard to state in one sentence. Daegan Smith is one MLM prospecting wizard you would want to know. His prospecting and recruiting success is causing many marketers to re-examine their own marketing strategies.

Consider this: Daegan once generated some 2600 MLM leads in one day; he has sponsored more than 3000 persons into his MLM business; he routinely creates hundreds, sometimes even thousands of new prospects each day.

“The King of Never Calling a Single Lead,” as Daegan is now popularly known, was only 24 when he started out online. That was five years ago. And like most online entrepreneurs, it was the fear of the future that proved to be the catalyst that propelled him into internet marketing.

At the time, Daegan had a job alright, a FedEx delivery man. But like most of us, the job was clearly a road to nowhere—salary that was never going to help you live a fulfilling life, and tiny raises that will always combine with inflation to keep you in the same circle of financial struggle, every year.

He thought about it all and decided that financial struggle wasn’t going to be his lot.

At length he went into real estate, bought an apartment building, but continued to search for a better—and quicker—way to secure his financial future. At a real estate training event, he stumbled onto affiliate marketing.

Daegan experimented with it for over a year before he saw his first commission check. It wasn’t much at the time, but it did a lot for his confidence and pocket.

Meanwhile he had begun to experiment with network marketing. A mentor had told him that a lack of focus was one reason many people fail in MLM. Daegan decided to put his mentor’s teachings to work.

He focused on internet marketing. Sampling the techniques of successful network marketers, he finally discovered and perfected the fundamentals of Multi-Level Marketing. The rest, as they say, is history.

As network marketer, what can you learn from Daegan Smith? A careful examination of his marketing strategies tells us that to have success in your MLM, you must also succeed with prospecting and recruiting.

To do that, you must: Have a lead capture page on your website, and have an auto-responder to facilitate the building of relationship with leads, Design a direct response, high-conversion sales letter. And most important Stay focused!

Furthermore, your business vision must constantly be clear to you. You must know why you went into network marketing in the first place. What goals and dreams bring you here? Keep it burning. Refuse to be distracted or discouraged.

Also, remain your natural but passionate self. You don’t have to be or act like someone else to be attractive. If you trust in who you are and make it fun, be assured that like-minded people (and there are many out there!) will be attracted to you as a person and to your business.

Of course remaining yourself does not remove the need to improve in your skills and methods. Indeed, one of Daegan Smith’s most dominant attributes is that he loves learning about new things. So should you. Continually update your self. Observe what others are doing. Hire a mentor if necessary.

Daegan also believes in starting small and then scaling up. So don’t wait till you are able to start big or do things perfectly. Take action and persist in it, all the while learning and correcting your mistakes.

As the saying goes, you don’t have to be perfect before you can start, but you’ll have to start before you can become perfect.

Above all, get proficient at generating traffic, recruiting, and automating some of your processes. If you would like to learn how to generate massive traffic based on lessons I learned from Daegan Smith, I invite you to visit my website.
