See What Tiger Woods Did - Does This Apply To You?
There are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge. ~Napoleon Hill~
It seems I see these words EVERYWHERE these days. From motivational speakers, motivational books and tapes. It seems I am finally getting the message. Even “naturals” had to practice to learn their craft.
Sadly, the most recent example of this was Tiger Woods.
No one disputes how gifted and talented an athlete he is.
Now stepping back from his present personal problems, what can we learn from his mental attitude towards developing his chosen profession.
One of the things I kept hearing over and over again is how much he practiced and worked at his profession, first as a child and then as a an adult. They say he could spend an entire day practicing and perfecting one shot.
That is dedication and that is discipline. He WORKED to make his dreams reality. He didn’t get on the course, hit a few balls and then go sit on his couch until the next event. Why should we be any different towards our business?
For me, fear of having to speak to people sometimes stops me from reaching my goals. Sometimes I have to have my self talk. This is ridiculous. Am I going to let Fear stop me from reaching my Financial Dreams. No Way!!
Every GREAT Leader did not start off a Great leader. They all had there share of mistakes and failures. We just don’t see them. We come on the back end and see the polished product. The Successful Top Producing Leader.
A Leader does not immediately start out as a leader. You have to be willing to make mistakes. But to become the leader you know you can be, you have to make a start. Put a side your fear of making mistakes.
Remember you are Bad before you are Good and Good before you are Great!

I really admire the dedication, tenacity, focus that Tiger Woods has. He is truly amazing to watch. To be a success in anything, you have to do what others won’t do. Just like Michael Jordan. Some would say he went overboard in preparing himself to become one of the best, if not the best, in the history of basketball. What truly separates the great from others are the aforementioned qualities. All of the greats in anyfield would always say they worked extremely hard on their particular craft. To be the best, it does take all of that and them some.
I am working hard on my craft and I will not quit until I reach the level of success that I am seeking.
Hello Olivia,
Thank you for your comment. and do not stop until you get to THE TOP!!!!
Hey Sandra, great post and it’s so true.
With so many so called overnight success’s business, sports, performance and arts, it is rare that you see the pain and growth these individuals went through. Their daily march to the destination that they set for them self, and the many failures that lead to success.
Learn to fail fast, and Keep Moving Forward.
Thanks again.
Rome.
Now, if only more people read this & then practice it, we could ALL be successful! Imagine that! Miracles do happen!
Hello Tom,

Hi Rome I’m glad you enjoyed the post.

A 10 mile -walk starts with the first step. True. What we need is the will and courage to take that first step and to keep on walking towards our goal.
Hi Tina,

Nice post! GA is also my biggest earning. However, it’s not a much.

Even if Tiger is the best golfer he must be held accountable to his actions like anyone else.
This statement is very true. But after you are held accountable you also must be able to move on and learn to be a better person.
We can avoid the effects of it by ignoring it and only paying attention to our own FLAWS IN OURSELVES
nice !
Its great here. great study. I have been looked this info for a little bit. thanks
Good to view you back again. And again with the interesting post.
How can I attract much more hits to my writing blog?
For an extended time, Tiger Woods was one of my heroes. He epitomized brilliance. Okay, I am not excellent, however when a heroic public figure is discovered to be so tarnished, it does take the hero out of heroism. All of one has left is “-ism” — idiot, foolish, moron. Is he a great golfer? You bet he is. Most likely he will always be viewed as one of the greatest of all time.
Nice blog you have got here. Will keep coming reading these good articles you are going to write. Maybe you want to check out this golf blog website.
You have an awesome blog! Keep up the good work. I found you on Yahoo.
I trust you and it surely likely to guide number of people.
A topic close to my heart thanks. Needed more pictures though.
Michael Jordan remains to be the finest basketball players. No a person before or right after him has played this game so good. Title me one player that may be comparable to Jordan. There may be none. By way of his brilliant play Jordan, the NBA has also accomplished even far better known internationally. All the planet knew the identify of Jordan and Chicago Bulls. There isn’t any better advertisement for basketball.
I don’t care for or against Tiger Woods or for his skill (placing a ball into a hole - “un trou de balle” en Français (!) but this American concept of apologetic laundry performed in public through “confession” and likely absolution reeks of something called superstition. It is as if apology were supposed to wipe out all misdeeds, in other words to cancel the past and culprits could start again with a new virginity. So we see the present Pope, previously Grand Inquisitor, apologizing for the Inquisition and also for the church mistreatment of women through the ages - thousands of them burned as witches (far more than men prosecuted for the same thing). It’s a good thing Hitler is dead. If alive, he might be “apologizing” for Auschwitz and other such places. Following which some characters would conclude that it’s all over, we should forget it and everybody “gotta move on.”
A thoughtful insight and ideas I will use on my blog. You’ve obviously spent a lot of time on this. Congratulations!
Does it really matter? He has been through hell as it is with the media and the whole whole knowing about his infidility. Would it have made it easier if he had allowed questions to be asked? He made mistakes yes, but now we need to allow this remarkable sportsman return to the one thing he is great at -golf. Let him pick up the pieces with his family and move on
