Finding People to join your MLM business is a major daily task for the average new person. When it comes to MLM business, your most important job is to find people to join your business opportunity.

Making a grand list of all your friends and their friends, and talking to every breathing thing around you was how it was done years ago. But these are the days of the internet.

And recruiting methods have changed. If you want to be successful in this business, you need to master ways of using the internet to get people to join your business.

There are both right ways and wrong ways to do this. Let’s discuss some of the right methods, recruiting techniques that have been proven to work.

Target the right kind of prospects: Remember that the internet is awash with solicitations to join numerous business opportunities. And nearly all of these are from people who don’t even know us from Adam. How do they even know what people want? They’re merely “me too” adverts. Be different: first find out what your potential customers are searching for.

For example, are you marketing telecommunications gadgets? Then by all means target marketing firms or others like them who would want to save on phone bills.

Similarly, if you’re marketing weight loss products, your best target could be someone who wants to lose weight to look good. You could also target mothers who want to lose pregnancy-induced weight gains.

Know what to say: once you’ve targeted the right kind of person for your MLM business, it’s important that you know exactly what to tell them to make them want to join your opportunity. Tell them how you can be of help to help them achieve their goals.

Utilize attraction marketing strategies:  this entails dealing with those who already know a lot about you and your business, as well as making them a part of the buying process. It involves providing your prospects with valuable information that help solve real problems for them, which in turn earns you their respect.

The main idea in attraction marketing is to take focus away from sales and instead create a friendly atmosphere between you and your customers. This helps prospects to perceive you first and foremost as a helpful friend who’s providing a useful service.

And Do provide useful services by way of free information to your prospects—email courses, eBooks, newsletters, etc. But always make sure that they contain valuable information that people can use and benefit from. If you’re recommending a product, be sure they’re products that have high use-value, not simply those that’ll make you money.

The whole idea is to project yourself as a knowledgeable and sympathetic leader in your business segment. You can influence your prospects more in this regard if you continue to implement a strategy that helps them to get to know and trust you.

This includes promising less and delivering more. It also includes responding promptly to enquiries and returning phone calls. You should generally make the process of reaching you easy, and make yourself likeable.

Attraction marketing operates on the premise that people—all of us—prefer doing business with those we like and trust. Do you now see why one of the very first things you should do as a network marketer is to build a cordial relationship with your prospects?

If you target the right kind of people for your MLM, if you clearly identify their needs, and you position yourself as not only a leader in your niche, but also as one who can help them benefit themselves in their business,

if moreover you try to build cordial relationships with your prospects, be assured that you’ll have people begging to join your MLM opportunity daily.  You can visit my Lead Generation Section at the top of this blog to learn more about the tools I use to generate daily leads to my MLM business.

Getting rich in MLM is there any real truth to this dream. Can one get rich doing MLM, or are all the earning claims just a bunch of baseless hype? Well, I believe the only reason you’re reading this is because you believe (even if half-heartedly) that wealth through network marketing is real and truly possible.

Scammers may have caused some damages to the reputation and credibility of Multi-Level Marketing. Besides, you may have personally attempted one aspect of Multi-Level Marketing or the other in the past which left a sour taste in your mouth. Not necessarily that you got ‘scammed’.

More like you couldn’t figure out how to make more money than you were spending in the business. Either way, do not throw the baby away along with the bath water; MLM is still the number one cost-effective source of real income for a new entrepreneur.

Network Marketing—What It Is? MLM and Network Marketing are two words that basically refer to the same activity. Yes, this is not a lecture class.

But see, unless you correctly understand what network marketing or MLM is, you won’t fully appreciate how it works and how to operate it. For example, there are some who see it as a pyramid scheme, approach it as such, and fail sooner than later.

Network marketing is basically a system of retailing products by using independent distributors. These independent distributors establish and manage their own sales force by recruiting other distributors to sell these same products.

Each marketer in this sales force is in effect a distributor who manages their own team or circle of marketers. Together they form a NETWORK of sales people for a particular product or company.

This sort of arrangement helps a company to save a lot in overhead expenses, most of which are then given out to distributors as commissions and bonuses. It is a strategy that is increasingly being put to good use by millions of home business owners around the world.

And the industry is churning out more millionaires than any other segment of the economy—most of which are reeling in recession, anyway. This industry trains you in several important areas, such as how to manage a business, how to sell, time management, staying motivated in the face of rejection, and so on.

How to Get Rich In MLM? Although your own personal talents and discretion must always come into play every here and there, but to entertain any hope of achieving long-term success with your MLM, there are a few things you must get right from the very beginning.

First and foremost, you will have to select the right MLM company to join. Listen, if you do this right you’ve done half of the job! It’s that important.

If you don’t get this right, nothing else you do will help. Some companies are just not solid. Others parade a line of products that just don’t sell. A few are outright scams. So ensure you do your search before joining. You could use the following criteria to identify a credible MLM company.

Find companies that have existed for five or more years. If a company has maintained a good track record for five years or more, there’s every chance that their products are good, and they are capable of further innovations and back-end support for their distributors.

Be choosy of what products to sell. The tag ‘network marketing’ does not magically turn a bad product to a good one! So why should you agree to sell a health product that you have reason to believe a doctor would condemn? Point is, only agree to sell products you have faith in.

Select a company that has a good back-end support for their distributors. Otherwise you’ll have to shoulder the responsibility of developing training and marketing programs and materials for your downlines. That could be too much load for one just starting out.

Having selected a credible MLM company, the next step is for you to evolve your own sales strategy. This involves deciding how you’ll generate leads and ways of supporting your downlines. In network marketing, more than half of your income will come from your team members. So you ought to give serious thoughts to who you recruit as your downline. It is better for you to have a few quality persons in your initial downline than to have every Jane and Joe and their cousins who won’t work!

Another strategy to adopt to ensure you’ll grow rich in MLM is to diversify your membership with a front end funded proposal. What this means is that you should lead with educational products or tools that appeal to your prospect even if they are in another company.

Find a lead generation system that provides this type of service. This will not only fetch you multiple streams of income, it will also reduce your risks. A front end funded proposal will help you eliminate your monthly fees in your primary business.

Having mastered the above, then automate your business by using internet recruiting strategies. Above all else, don’t ever consider quitting, no matter what initial negative results you encounter. In this and all other businesses, only those who outlast setbacks reap the rewards. Continue to learn everyday, improving in your targeting and follow-ups.

If you implement these tips AND teach your downline members to do the same, then you’ve laid a solid foundation for MLM riches. It is as good as guaranteed that you’ll reap the benefits in no time.

Brian Garvin and Jeff West are the two guys behind mlmreviewkings.com. As you may or may not know, mlmreviewKings.com regularly carries out systematic review of MLM companies, products, leading lights… you name it, and if it’s MLM stuff, chances are that review kings have examined it for you.

So you can say Brian and Jeff are rendering very useful services to network marketers. They’ve created what is regarded as one of the best online resources for people involved in MLM.

Brian and Jeff are internet marketing experts in their own rights. They have a combined 17 years of experience doing MLM. And they’ve done it all—Lead Generation, Search Engine Optimization, Software Development, Sales, DVD Development, Public Speaking Engagements, E-Book Authoring, etc. So in this business, Brian Garvin and Jeff West have done pretty much anything you can think of.

But what both men consider their best skill set is their ability to help all serious-minded network marketers to develop personalized and detailed marketing strategies.  And they are known to often go beyond the call of duty to help those who are determined to achieve some of their highest possible aspirations and income dreams.

They often do these by way of bringing out the hidden talents and creativity that’s present in everyone.

At the moment, Brian and Jeff have as their primary MLM business a company known as Tivita. With Tivita, Brian and Jeff are attempting to create a synergy between traditional direct response marketing and mainstream media adverts. The result is a new concept they refer to as ‘co-operative marketing’.

The whole idea behind co-operative marketing is to take the hassles of prospecting away from network marketers—most of who are having troubles with prospecting, anyway. Thus, as a marketer, you can outsource customer gathering tasks to Tivita and focus on other aspects of your business. Boy, that’s a lot of load taken off your shoulders! But it doesn’t come cheap.

So Should You Buy Into This Opportunity?  That ought to be a personal decision. But let me point out that the fundamental need that Brian Garvin and Jeff West are out to address with Trivia is real—customer acquisition.

And they are unique in this service offering. It is arguable if there’s any other company anywhere at the moment who is offering to get customers for MLM marketers in this fashion.

Of course, the downside of this strategy is that it is expensive. Put side by side with simple marketing tactics that are sure to fetch you loads of prospective customers, I would think that the money spent buying this program could be better utilized.

It obviously isn’t the best prospecting option for the newbie network marketer. There are far easier and cheaper ways to get people to join your opportunity than contracting it all out for a hefty fee.

But there sure are very helpful marketing tips you can learn from Brian and Jeff. They are veterans in this business, remember. So I suggest you subscribe to their newsletters and other free training stuff. You could also contact them personally as they are among the best trainers in online marketing.

In the end, whether or not you decide to buy into the co-operative marketing idea, you will still need to work hard before you can see success in your MLM.

Yes, it doesn’t matter what program you are using, if you want to prosper in this business, then you must learn how to market your own business attractively, consistently, simply, and honestly.

Not forgetting to take full advantage of internet resources. Basically these are the principles that have enabled Brian, Jeff, and countless other network marketers to achieve success with their MLM.

Do you realize how many people fail in MLM everyday? Many people want to start a home-based business so as to earn extra income or probably strike it rich. For most of these people, MLM and other aspects of direct marketing is the way to go.  And for good reasons:

Multi-Level Marketing is creating more millionaires today than any other industry; this is about the only business that can make you a million dollars and more per year without a single paid staff; and if you don’t feel like it, you actually don’t need an office. And did we mention that you also work at your convenience? Well, now you see why most people cannot resist the lure of Multi-Level Marketing.

Unfortunately only a little fraction of those going into MLM eventually realize the money and freedom they dream of. 9 out of every 10 persons gong into MLM WILL FAIL. That is a fact we all must accept. And such grim statistics naturally begs the question: why do so many fail in MLM? Could it be that MLM is not for everyone after all?

That is the debate in some quarters right now. But if you’re like me and most other MLM researchers, you’ll accept that anyone can succeed in MLM, and pretty much any other business. They just need the right attitude.

In Multi-Level Marketing, failure can be caused by any or all of the following reasons: a lack of experience in MLM strategies, inadequate capital, and a get-rich-quick mentality (impatience).

INEXPERIENCE is probably the greatest reason why most persons will end up not making money in MLM. Imagine that Nancy got introduced to this exciting product that her friend Lisa is selling. Nancy loves the products and knows that by reselling them she too can make some extra money. So Lisa enrolls her, and Nancy is now happy and excited to have her own network business.

Weeks roll by and Nancy has neither made a sale nor introduced another distributor.  She doesn’t know the first thing about marketing as it relates to MLM. She doesn’t know how to invite people to join her opportunity. Meanwhile she has to continue to order for products from the company to keep her membership active. Now Nancy’s bills have started to pile. Still no commission checks in sight, she’s now overwhelmed, gets discouraged, and finally gives up.

That’s inexperience at work, a lack of marketing techniques. When MLM trainers and companies fail to teach their new distributors how to market effectively and profitably, they set them up for failure.

Before ever joining a network opportunity, you must do some research about the company. Study the company’s pay plan very carefully. You must also have your own marketing strategy, based on what has worked for other marketers in your chosen industry. Talk to experts in the business, and learn from them. Avoid emotional decisions when it comes to business investments.

Another reason why people fail in MLM is what I’ll call UNDERCAPITALIZATION. Sure you don’t need much money to get started in MLM. But you do need SOME money! Look, in this business you’re going to advertize both yourself and your products or business opportunity.

You are going to have to reach out to people to make them take a look at you and what you do so they can decide whether to join you. Whether your business is mainly carried on online on offline, you’ll need one form of advert campaign or the other to get you noticed.

Additionally, most MLM companies require that you make monthly purchases (and sometimes fees). It is partly from these that commissions are paid to uplines. So if your budget is such that you cannot afford these expenses, please don’t join MLM yet. You are likely to come to regrets.

True, it is possible for some persons to earn back their investment within weeks or months, but this is not the norm; the average new member will not earn anything substantial within the first six months.

Finally people fail in MLM due to a LACK OF PATIENCE. Majority of people who start home-based MLM opportunities believe that the moment they get registered money will just start rolling in like clockwork. MLM is nothing near that.

If you like truth, here it is: it will likely take you a few months to earn your first dollar; MLM takes time to build; and you are going to have to wait! This is also another reason you need to have enough money to carry you through the early stages. But once your business gains momentum, then the profits will begin to come in, first in trickles, and then later in torrents!

So you need to give your MLM business the time to grow, all the while implementing your marketing plan. Refuse to get discouraged. Make sure you join a company with a good reputation and high quality products—very important. And avoid joining many companies at the same time while starting out.  The profits will come if you follow these guidelines and remain steadfast and consistent with your strategies.

MLM Recruiting is the most important aspect of running an MLM networking business. And for most networkers, it is also the most frightening. So wouldn’t it be nice to finally know what works and what doesn’t in network marketing recruiting? In order words, what do million-dollar MLM earners do in recruiting that the average networkers is not doing?

The truth is that MLM recruiting is not rocket science if you do it right. The following are guidelines you should consider ever before calling your first lead. Take these to heart and you should see a marked improvement in your recruiting rates, or ignore them and remain a friend of excuses.

Show Genuine Interest: Caring is one trait you must not ignore. Your primary focus should be on helping people and empowering them. All top recruiters in network marketing manifest a sense of caring and compassion toward their leads or prospects.

You show this by doing what’s best for your leads rather than what’s best for earning you quick bucks—which may not last. Supply useful information that will solve real problems or answer real questions for people. Remember, if you first care about people, chances are they’ll care when you eventually introduce your product or business opportunity.

Communicate Often: You are in Multi-Level Marketing. So you can’t help but to keep talking. But more importantly, you should communicate in ways that get your messages across. Talk frequently to a whole lot of people, but choose your words carefully.

Focus on the other person and keep the conversation flowing in that direction. Be friendly and non-manipulative in your communication with prospects (and pretty much with everybody!).

Don’t Sound Needy! Most marketers make this mistake. In your recruiting efforts, never give the lead the impression that their joining matters more to you than to them. If you “beg” them to join they won’t. So project a positive and dignified personality.

People are attracted to someone who is in some sense higher than where they are in life—higher in self worth, abundance, knowledge etc. This also means you should not become emotionally attached to your prospect. It gives the impression that you’re just out for the money, and away they fly once they sense that!

Make a Connection: This essentially means finding a common ground between you and your prospects. What are their needs or interests?  Connect to those needs and interests. The whole idea is to befriend your prospect. It is easier to recruit a friend than a stranger, isn’t it?

Continue to Learn: You see, knowledge drives this industry. So if you truly want to master MLM recruiting, then you just have to keep on learning and keep on improving in the various aspects of your marketing efforts.

This will put you in a position where you’ll always have value to give to prospects. The more problems you can solve, the more friends you’ll make. As far as recruiting is concerned, Knowledge really is everything.

Finally, Be Consistent in Your Recruiting Efforts: Consistency will see you through the rough periods that every business must experience. Follow up on leads and connect meaningfully with them. Remember that it may take longer to recruit some prospects than others.

These guidelines, if faithfully followed, should see you beginning to enjoy your MLM business, as well as becoming a recruiting guru. Moreover, I would think it’s impossible to succeed in MLM itself without implementing any number of these points.

Why do you think that MLM is a recession proof business? The current economic meltdown is now officially recognized to be second only to the Great Depression of the 1930s.

Auto industry heavyweights and financial services giants have all spent the better part of the past 15 months scurrying to the White House for bailouts. At the moment, everyone is cautious in proclaiming that the worst is over.

But if you’re a network marketer or industry watcher, you know that the story over here is much different. Most companies in this industry have been reporting record growths in all aspects of their business—revenues, business expansions, profits, product lines, and, most importantly, registration of new members.

Xango, a network marketing company in its 6th year of operation recently announced that they have just recruited their one millionth distributor.

Avon also has cheery news to share despite the tough economic climate. The company hasn’t particularly been seeing massive growths in recent years, which is understandable for a billion-dollar company.

Yet, even Avon recently reported appreciable growth in key areas:  15% growth in sales of beauty products; the number of active representatives increased by 5%; operating profit went up by 33%.

Pre-Paid Legal Services, another network marketing company is set to record its 16th consecutive year of membership revenue growth!

The bottom line is that network marketing and the economy are no fair weather friends. Network marketing can and do thrive under any economy—good or bad. For, even when all is well with the economy, there are always people who want a little extra income or more time to spend with their families. Network marketing helps them achieve these goals.

And when the economy is bad, the reasons become even more compelling.

What happens is that when the economy is bad, persons who under normal circumstances would not look at an opportunity suddenly become favorably disposed to the idea.

This is why many MLM analysts are of the opinion that a bad economy is in fact the best time to grow a network marketing business. The reason being, that as people lose their jobs and struggle financially, they begin to look for ways to solve their financial challenges.

So if you’re a network marketer, the current economic crises actually presents a tremendous business opportunity to you.

Another reason why network marketing thrives in bad economy is that the business does not require a huge amount of money in capital to start. Any average person who is adequately motivated can start their own network opportunity with relatively small amount of personal cash.

This is no doubt a major reason why majority of those starting out in this business are low to average income earners. Of course, many end up achieving results way beyond their initial goal of simply earning extra change to get by in the absence of a regular job. Which also leads us, to the third and most important reason.

Network marketing has a great potential to make one rich. This is true even during recessions. MLM (i.e. Network Marketing) is one of very few businesses you can start during a recession and watch it blossom into a money-spinning enterprise in a short time.

That is why Robert Kiyosaki (of the Rich Dad - Poor Dad fame) and Donald Trump recognize Multi-Level Marketing as one of the surest ways an average Joe can build real wealth.

In all, we are saying that recession causes people to open their minds to alternative sources of income. Those who have jobs worry about losing it. So they accept another source of supplementary income, just in case.

Those who are out of job are frantically searching for ways to start some business that does not require them to give an arm and a leg (financially speaking). Both will discover that network marketing is their best alternative.

Of course, no representation of instant wealth in network marketing is intended here. Seldom does success come without hard work, commitment, and consistency. And with a lot of patience too. But that is a discussion for another day.

The point here is that even during dire economic conditions, some industries manage to do well. Network marketing happens to be one of these few.

Is MLM The Right Business For Everyone? You Decide

Is MLM the right business for you? The economy is hurting. And many people are gradually realizing that the HARDEST way to achieve financial security is to work for government or corporations. At the same time, MLM and other work- from-home opportunities are becoming more and more popular.

It is now commonplace to hear of very ordinary folks who only a few years ago were just getting by now commanding six-figure in annual income, working from home. Others have developed their network marketing businesses to a level where they now enjoy the kind of life some of us can only dream of.

Unfortunately MLM also has some bad reputation. You probably know or have heard about someone who lost hundreds or thousands of dollars trying to run a Multi-Level Marketing opportunity. These things happen. But does that mean that MLM is a bad business? In view of the contrasting results people are having in MLM, it is pertinent to ask: is MLM right for you?

Multi-Level Marketing or network Marketing is a popular business choice for people who desire to make extra money from home. It has really evolved over the years. It is now promoted and practiced in virtually every country and every industry segment.

The opportunity is real, and the vast majority of income claims are true. And, as opposed to get-rich-quick schemes, MLM are legitimate business ventures that can be approached in a most professional manner.

So, is MLM right for you? Well, let’s see: Do you really have a strong desire to make money running your own business? Do you enjoy working with people? Are you good at organizing, or are you willing to learn? Do you have a plan for success that you’ll stick to, come what may, for up to 5 years? Are you open to coaching and self-improvement?

Additionally, but not necessarily, are you a fast talker, or a public speaker? If you answered yes to most of these questions, then you’ll do well in MLM. It is right for you.

Start by choosing a dependable company with a good track record, proven products, uncomplicated compensation plan, and a rich pool of successful upline team leaders that are willing to work with downlines. This will take some searching on your part, but it is very important.

Do not fall for glamorous opportunities that sound too good to be true. Do your home-work well. This will prevent you from jumping from one opportunity to the other—which itself is a recipe for failure in MLM.

Once you’ve chosen a reliable opportunity, get focused. Do not be swayed by claims from other marketers in other opportunities (by the way, these may well be true, but who says you won’t have your own success stories to tell soon?). Don’t quit and don’t jump around. The winners in MLM are those who stay put and overcome all challenges.

The question of if MLM is right for one actually depends on an individual’s point of view. This business (MLM) does have its pros and cons. Having realistic expectations and observing due diligence before getting in are essential.

Consistent action and commitment are also very important. Above all, do not look at network marketing as get-rich-quick scheme. If you do, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment and failure.

Over all, I’m convinced that starting a MLM business with the right company is the quickest and easiest way to financial freedom today, provided you’re prepared to work hard, learn how to generate daily leads and work smart.

If you do not want to fail in your MLM opportunity there is certain knowledge and skills that you need to have. Have you ever read an ad that said you’d make more money in a week than you’d made in your entire life.

And that feeling pulled you irresistibly toward your dreams. It was an awesome feeling!  Finally you plunged—bought into the program, believing you’ve found the best thing since electricity was invented!

And you’ve sacrificed a lot to see the profits you were promised, foregoing time with family, spending money out of family budget, working odd hours. Yes, you methodically worked the business plan as it was laid out. Yet, you couldn’t see any detectable sign of success. And now you’re seriously considering quitting.

If the above scenario describes your experience in network marketing, take heart. Fortunately you are in the majority, if that’s any comfort. Latest figures reveal that each week, some 175,000 persons start one form of MLM or the other. If you got your math right, it translates to 9 million-plus new MLM businesses per year.

Meanwhile only about 5% of these, a tiny minority, will succeed with their business. The vast majority, about 95%, will fail! Reminds me of the Great Preacher’s words: “Many are called, but few are chosen” (Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible).

Fortunately nobody is destined to belong in the majority class; nobody is destined to fail. It’s all in the way we approach this activity called network marketing. Here are 6 clues on how NOT to fail in your MLM.

It Takes Time: Sorry if that breaks your heart. Truth is, unless you win a lottery or something, you are never going to make a million dollars overnight. It takes time to create enduring wealth. And if any internet ads are telling you anything different, just move on!

Beware Of Scams: Your success in MLM begins with choosing a credible company to join. Unfortunately most “opportunities” out there are outright scams—they’re simply there to rip us off! So you’d better be careful with your credit card. Before deciding to join a company, research it—on Google, YouTube, Wikipedia, etc. Don’t be shy to ask someone what they know about the company. Ensure there are ways to reach the company on phone and through email. Call them to make enquiries and voice your concerns. And don’t join until you have a good feeling about the company its leaders.

Stay Focused: A lack of focus is another reason many marketers fail. When you’re just starting out, remain with one MLM Company, and only one company (provided you’ve digested point 2 above). Jumping from one company to another will ensure you won’t ever get off the ground—you’ll keep starting over many times. Forget all the ads that keep telling you about the next best thing. It’s the same as what you have on your hands! So stay focused, stay committed, and fully work the plan you’ve got

Accept Responsibility: It’s like learning to drive a car. No amount of information on paper will prevent you from making a few rookie mistakes the moment you eventually get behind the wheel.

Are you going to accept those mistakes and learn from them, or are you going to blame your driving teacher? So it goes with network marketing. Some of the most successful ones are those who take responsibility for both their failures and successes. After all you answer only to yourself here, it’s your business. So it’s up to you to make it work and take all the credits.

Have a Mentor: There are those who’ve been doing this before you. You need the successful and honest ones among them to help you out. In most network marketing companies, you’re often sponsored by someone. Observe carefully how your mentor or leader is faring in the business.

If he sucks, then how can he help you to succeed? But if he is obviously succeeding with the business, you’d better find out how he does it. Don’t be shy to ask questions and seek clarifications.

Explore the Power of The Internet: This is actually more like a marketing strategy. But it is good to quickly mention it here, because a major reason many fail in their MLM is that they go about marketing as if this is the late 70’s.

Old-school marketing methods won’t take you far in today’s MLM—harassing friends, relatives, and virtually anything that has breath and lives near you! It doesn’t work that way anymore. Remember too, if these ones do join, remembering what it took you to get them will paralyze their marketing drive. So it’s a dead end approach to marketing. Learn the new techniques of marketing your MLM online.

The 6 points above are tested and trusted guidelines or ‘laws,’ which, if carefully followed, will ensure you won’t fail in your MLM business. It goes without say that you’ll have to persevere since this is not a get-rich-quick activity. Yes, only 5% of new entrants into MLM may succeed, but that number can surely accommodate you.

MLM is a business that you need to generate a steady flow of MLM leads daily to be successful. Starting a new business may be one of the most exciting experiences anyone can ever have.

Yes, the prospect of setting your own work schedule, working from your own office (or maybe even home), and writing your own checks usually give us that adrenaline rush.

But we all know that very few of those starting new businesses remain excited one year or so afterward. In the case of network marketing, only about 5% will still be smiling one year after launching their MLM.

The vast majority of people who fail in MLM fail because they are unable to generate leads. It’s not that many don’t know that lead generation is the lifeblood of this business. But they go about it the wrong way—pestering friends, relatives and coworkers with their business opportunity.

As long as you continue to pitch your business opportunity to people who are not interested in what you’re saying, you won’t succeed in this business.

You need to know that most persons don’t have any reason to be as excited as you are about your business opportunity.
So how do you generate good, qualified, and sustainable MLM leads?

Attraction marketing is one term that’s fast assuming an iconic status, sort of a buzzword in the network marketing world. And for a lot of very good reasons.

Call it self-branding, magnetic sponsoring, or any other name, attraction marketing is now known to be the most successful, most economical, and the most efficient method of lead generation and recruiting in network marketing business.

The goal is to attract people to yourself, rather than having to hunt them down with cold calls. The key principle of attraction marketing is that people would rather do business with someone they find attractive. And the strategy works—why else is it getting more and more popular!

To implement this strategy, begin your marketing efforts by identifying your prospects’ goals, and solving their problems. Allow your business opportunity to take the backseat for now.

Attraction marketing is all about learning what attracts people—and doing it. Now, almost everybody is attracted to those who they believe they can learn something from.

So naturally you need to be well-informed about both your business opportunity and what you believe your prospects are interested in. Then find ways to show your possible pool of customers just how valuable you can be to them.

Also, if you are up-to-date on all subjects surrounding your business, people will flock to you to learn the latest. They will look up to you as a reliable source of information—an authority.

That is how trust is built. And when people look to you as an authority, they will want to get involved in what you’re doing. Remember to exhibit poise and politeness in your marketing approach. Be open to sharing useful information, and you’ll generate a load of leads.

The sweetest thing about attraction marketing is that you are not going to harass anyone to join your business or buy your product. The strategy is about establishing trust in people. Your prospects feel relaxed and in charge.

They often make the decision themselves that they want to join your business. And if you ever have to introduce your business along the way, you’ll discover that their mind was already made up to follow you!

The truth is that when customers come to you willingly, they’re more open to seeing the benefits of what you are saying. If they feel pressured or hunted, they become suspicious and run away. That is where 95% of the newbies get it wrong and fail in MLM.

By applying attraction marketing strategies, you’ll discover that generating quality and steady MLM leads daily is not as difficult as it seems.
